Essential vitamins for good skin

In this post, I'm going to share with you the most important and essential vitamins for good skin, in other words, if you don't have these nutrients in your body in abundance, your skin is going to look terrible!

This is a harsh reality about nutrition: most people are deficient in very important vitamins and minerals, this makes them not only look weak, but it also makes their skins very fragile and damaged, that's why they are going to suffer from wrinkles, pimples, itchiness, inflammations, and even stretch marks very easily!

To avoid this, you have to start getting the most important vitamins for your skin, in other words, these nutrients are extremely essential, and if you don't have them, then, you are missing on a lot of opportunities to make your skin fantastically beautiful and resistant to diseases.

However, I need to give you a little warning, the nutrients you are going to find in this post aren't all vitamins so to speak, in other words, I'm also going to share with you minerals, fatty acids and antioxidants that are extremely important for your skin as well.

  • The first essential vitamin for good skin is biotin.

Most people are deficient in biotin nowadays, you may think that you are not deficient in biotin because you are taking a multivitamin, but let me tell you that multivitamins don't provide the necessary amounts of biotin your skin and your body really needs.

You will need at least 5000 micrograms a day of biotin, this is essential because it plays an important role for your skin's elasticity and health, and if you are deficient, then, your skin is going to look weak, old, and very fragile.

  • The next important vitamin for having a great and beautiful skin is vitamin E.

Although I don't recommend taking vitamin E supplements, I have to say that in some cases, people have to use them as they are the only choice to stay away from deficiency.

In general, you should do as I do, you should consume one handful of walnuts or almonds every single day this is nonnegotiable because it's going to provide your body with the necessary vitamins E needed, plus almonds or walnuts are extremely rich in many other nutrients and vitamins that your skin really needs.

  • Now, let's me talk about the third element your skin needs: DHA!

DHA is a long chain omega three fatty acids, it's found in fish and some meats as well, but since these foods tend to be very polluted and dangerous for your skin, I highly recommend that you supplement DHA from algae based sources, in other words, vegan DHA, they are the best and I use them every single day, trust me, my skin looks amazing and very healthy.

You will need at least 300 milligrams a day of algae DHA, it is also nonnegotiable to have a fantastically looking skin.

  • The fourth one is omega three fatty acids.

Yes, there is a difference between DHA and omega3s.

The first one is a long chain omega three acid, whereas the second one is just short omega3s molecules.

Trust me, in your body, both play different roles and are extremely essential.

To tell you the truth, even when you supplement with fish oil or other nonsense supplements, they are not going to help your body since your body prefers whole foods, not just plain supplements, that's why I highly recommend that you start consuming two tablespoons a day of ground flaxseeds.

Believe me when I tell you that flax seeds are probably the most abundant sources of omega-3 fatty acids, most importantly, they will provide your body with lots of nutrition and valuable elements that are going to help you not only grow stronger hair, but also have a fantastically beautiful and gorgeous skin.

  • And the fifth element or nutrient your skin really needs to become beautiful is silica!

Silica is a mineral, it's not a vitamin or a fatty acid, however, it's also very important since it's going to provide your skin with strength and elasticity, and let me tell you skin which is weak and fragile is going to develop diseases and inflammations very easily.

You will need 100 milligrams a day of silica dioxide.

These are the most important vitamins, so to speak, for your skin, if your body is deficient in one of them; your skin is going to look terrible and pale!

If you need help or have some questions, please, post them in the section below, I will be more than happy to help you out.
