Does argan oil clog pores?

Is argan oil going to clog your skin pores? And can argan oil unclog your pores?

Many women have told me in the past that argan oil was very beneficial for their hair, however it had a nasty side effect!

When I ask them about it, they told me that argan oil was going to clog the pores on the skin!

So, does argan oil clog pores?

The truth is: NO.

Argan oil is not going to clog your skin pores, in fact argan oil is going to unclog them and help your skin breathe and be healthy and young looking.

The reason why women believe that argan oil is going to clog skin pores is because it has a sticky feeling to it and they think that this may be dangerous for the skin!

However, this sticky feeling is the one responsible for protecting your skin and creating a healthy coating layer on top of your healthy cells which is going to protect them from damages of sun light and aggressive pollutants in different cosmetic lotions and even the environment.

However, in order to add more protection to your skin when applying argan oil, you need to use the following precautions:

Never apply cold argan oil on your skin, always warm it with the palm of your hands, then when it’s completely at body temperature, start applying to your face and skin.

Never use argan oil cream which contains animal fats, these are the ones responsible for clogging the skin and making it develop pimples and even acne.

The third advice is to always try to use argan oil that has not been processed.

It’s the one that will not contain preservatives and additives, which are going to cause inflammations and skin problems if applied in high amounts.
