Can you use rosehip oil during pregnancy?

In this post, you are going to find out whether you can use rosehip oil during pregnancy or not.

I keep receiving so many questions about rosehip oil these days and one of the most recurring ones is how can pregnant women prevent stretch marks from happening!

To this, I always advise to use either rosehip oil or argan oil, since they are very powerful and efficient as well, however, most women are in doubt when it comes to using these powerful fatty acids during such a critical time!

To this, I always answer with the following: rosehip oil is completely safe to use during pregnancy if you know what you are doing, and this is what I'm going to show you in this post.

Why I don't recommend using other oils and fatty acids during pregnancy?

It's because some of these essential oils, you will learn about their benefits in other posts, tend to be very powerful on your hormonal system, in other words, they change your hormones and they even influence their production, which is terrible during pregnancy, and the amazing thing about rosehip oil is that it's completely safe for your skin and also it doesn't disrupt your hormonal production.

So, why should you avoid using a lot then?

Because we don't know what it can do to your health, that's why I don't recommend using a lot of rosehip oil during pregnancy, only use some few drops a day, it's more than enough.

So, how can you use rosehip oil during pregnancy safely and efficiently?

First of all, I don't recommend using rosehip oil daily when you are pregnant, although it's completely safe, I think that you should give your body an opportunity to fix itself by itself and to avoid relying on different essential oils and fatty acids to solve your skin problems, since these tend to also cause stress in your skin and may even cause inflammations, that's why I don't recommend using rosehip oil on a daily basis!

What you can do instead is mix one teaspoon of unrefined and unfiltered organic rosehip oil with two tablespoons of argan oil, trust me, argan oil is very safe to use during pregnancy, it's hypoallergenic, meaning that it doesn't cause allergies in people, and it's very nutritious for your skin and hair as well.

So, apply just some few drops daily and in a susceptible area where you may develop stretch marks, this is the best way to prevent them and this is also the best way to use rosehip oil during pregnancy.

Please, if you have a question about rosehip oil and pregnancy, then, post it in the section below, I will be more than happy to help you.
