Does aquaphor clog pores?

Does aquaphor clog pores? The answer is yes, and it is because it contains lanolin.

Not only that, but aquaphor also contains large amounts of mineral oil which is also known for clogging pores, however, as with most skin products, they will all clog pores in some way or another, so, should you stop using it?

Absolutely not, this is a very safe product to use, and if you look at the ingredients list, you will find that they are mainly lanolin, mineral oil, glycerin, and alcohol, and all these ingredients have been tested exhaustively and are very safe for your skin.

What about clogging pores?

You have to understand that our skin is amazing at unclogging pores, so, every time they are clogged, your skin is going to unclog them through sebum production, the problem doesn't lie with skin care products clogging your pores, it lies with what you are eating!

If our diets rely heavily on saturated fats, especially the ones from animal foods, then, our pores are going to be clogged, no matter what you use, even if you are using mineral water, it would clog your pores!

However, if you are following a good diet and you don't have high levels of stress, then, you have nothing to be scared of!

I know that in the case of aquaphor, you may be thinking that babies and infants don't rely on saturated fats, however, I beg to differ!

It depends largely on their diets, if they are fed naturally, meaning breasts milk, then, they will absolutely have no problem with aquaphor, however, if they are under a lot of stress and are all the time relying on formula, then, this is a problem.

In general, aquaphor will clog pores, but not to a high degree.
