Green tea side effects on your skin

In this post, we are going to discover the most annoying and sometimes even dangerous green tea side effects on your skin, and most importantly, how to limit them and even get rid of their symptoms.

When I was young, I kept hearing on TV and in the radio about green tea benefits and its amazing effects on our health, so, I grew up thinking that it was completely safe, and no matter how much you drink, you will never experience problems and you will always have fantastic health with no side effects!

However, as my husband's experience with green tea shows, it can be very dangerous, especially for your cardiovascular system and even to your overall health.

So, my husband thought the same thing about green tea, that it was amazing and very healthy, and he began brewing about two liters a day and drinking it regularly!

Soon, he started feeling heart palpitations, his skin became very pale and weak, he started to even feel dizzy all day long and soon, he was consulting doctors to see what's going on with his health!

After many diagnoses and blood work, he came to the conclusion that he was doing something wrong to his health, and soon, after avoiding green tea for three weeks, his health went back to normal and he felt good again!

Well, today, I would like to talk about the side effects of green tea on your skin.

  • The first one is limiting blood irrigation!

Indeed, green tea is very rich in caffeine, when you start drinking too much, your heart is going to overwork itself, in other words, your heart rhythm is going to increase and soon, it will start pumping more blood, this may seem good, but the bad thing is that it will not help your skin because it is not going to get a lot of nutrients and most importantly oxygen, which is going to make it very pale and weak looking!

So, avoid drinking a lot of green tea, and if you are having too much caffeine in your diet, then, you need to slow down a little with this substance, because it can cause so many troubles to your cardiovascular system.

  • The second one is increasing your immune response.

When you drink too much green tea, your immune system is going to be highly stimulated, this is a great thing, but sometimes, if you have certain allergies, they will be increased and highly stimulated as well.

So, a friend of mine has allergic rhinitis, and because she drank a lot of green tea, she noticed that her allergic reactions became much more violent!

That's when she reduced the amounts.

So, if you have an allergy or eczema/rash/even psoriasis, then, you need to avoid drinking a lot of green tea because it's going to increase the symptoms a lot.

  • The third one is reducing your skin glow.

Green tea is going to reduce iron absorption, so, if you are suffering from anemia, avoid drinking a lot, in fact, stay away from green tea because it will make your skin look pale very quickly, and this is simply not beneficial!

  • The fourth one is nothing!

Yes, apart from these three side effects, green tea is fantastic for your skin, in fact, drinking one green tea bag a day is more than enough to ensure your body antioxidants and to also help it deal with various problems and skin issues such as acne very efficiently.
