Trust me, when I talk about the best diet to get clear skin, most people are going to doubt what I say, in fact, I will raise more questions than answers, and I'm sure that you are going to do the same!
You are going to start thinking that I'm simply lying to you or that I don't have a clue about what I'm saying, but trust me, look at the picture on the right! Yes, that's me, and I look fantastic, in fact, I have a clear skin that's amazing, pimples free, inflammations free, and the last time I got acne, it was in my teens!
Now, I am thirty-three years old!
Yes, I don't have skin problems because I follow an amazing diet, and I want you to do the same!
I'm serious, I don't want to lie to you, I don't want to tell you things I don't practice myself, and if you are not ready to hear the truth, then please, close this post and look elsewhere, because I've tried many diets before, in fact, I have followed some extreme diets in the past which relied on vitamins, supplements, and lots of processed foods, with no use, in fact, they were the worst, but when I became vegan, and here, I'm talking about consuming whole foods, and staying away from processed soy foods as much as possible and fake meats, I saw amazing results!
When I wake up, the first thing I do is drink one liter of water, you must understand that your body has been dehydrated for over eight hours and it needs water to lubricate your joints and your muscles and to also get rid of as many toxins as possible.
Believe me when I tell you that toxins are the biggest enemies of your skin, if you would like to have a clear skin, you need to get rid of as much toxins as possible, they cause inflammations, and needless to tell you that inflammations are going to result in lots of skin problems like itchiness and redness!
Then, I have two tablespoons of ground flaxseeds.
It is amazing what ground flaxseeds can do to your health, it detox your body very quickly and most importantly, it's gives your system amazing omega-3 fatty acids that are very important for your cardiovascular and also your nervous health, most importantly, omega-3 fatty acids are extremely important for our skin because it is an essential fatty acid which plays a significant role in the buildup of healthy skin cells.
For breakfast, I have two large slices whole wheat bread with jam, a little bit of olive oil, just some few drops, and one handful of walnuts or almonds.
Throughout the day, I have green smoothies and fruits, and at lunch, I have beans! Yes, healthy beans, the ones that make you fart!
Sorry to say this, but it's the truth, I am a huge beans lover, in fact, I don't feel satisfied if I don't eat beans because they are simply delicious and most importantly, as a working mother, I need time to prepare food, and beans are extremely easy make, I just soak them overnight, and put them in my slow cooker with some spices and I have a wonderful meal for my family that's very healthy and filling as well.
I add lots of spices to my beans and a little olive oil, in fact, less than a teaspoon.
