Is salicylic acid good for your skin?

Is salicylic acid good for your skin? Well, the short answer is yes, however, if you don't know what you are doing, in other words, you don't know how to use it the right way, it will harm your skin, it will cause numbing sensations and will even increase inflammations dramatically which is very uncomfortable!

So, in this post I'm going to show you how you can use salicylic acid the right way, in order to make it work for your skin, not against it!

The first thing you need to understand is that there are many forms of salicylic acid you can use for your skin, however, the best in my opinion for soothing your skin and getting rid of inflammations, such as acne and other pimples, is in liquid form.

Indeed, there is salicylic acid in soaps and even in gels, most are fantastic, but I personally prefer to use liquid one, not because it's highly efficient, in fact it is more efficient than the other ones, but simply because it doesn't cost as much as the other ones.

Please, if you can afford the other brands or forms of salicylic acid, then, go ahead and use them, they will work for your skin as well, the only thing I'm going to tell you here is that using liquid salicylic acid is much more beneficial because you will be able to use only the right amount, and not exceed the dosage.

I've seen people abusing salicylic acid soaps and using them excessively on a daily basis only to end up with an extremely inflamed and scaly skin!

I don't want this happening to you, this is the reason why you need to follow my advice and only use salicylic acid in liquid form.

So, what are you suffering from?

Whether you are suffering from acne, pimples, brush, eczema, oily skin, dry skin, blackheads, whiteheads or even dark marks on your skin that are itchy and very painful, you should use the following recipe:

First, take one teaspoon of warm water to which you are going to add one teaspoon of salicylic acid, always use 30%.

This is by far the safest way to use it without damaging your skin and without causing yourself terrible itchy sensations!

Apply using a cotton ball twice a day, make sure you cover every little area of your infected skin and soon, you are going to feel an extremely soothing and pleasant sensation, you will know that your skin is healing and getting better.

One more very important thing: try to avoid using salicylic acid for a very long time!

I've seen people using salicylic acid for more than a month only to find their skin deteriorating, in fact, much worse than it was before!

To avoid this, never exceed using salicylic acid for two weeks, this is for your own safety, and you should be very careful when using anti-inflammatory drugs as they can be extremely powerful for weak skins and even cause more inflammations and troubles than the ones you have right now!

Please, if you have a question about using salicylic acid for your skin, don't hesitate to ask me, I'm here to help you:
