How to use argan oil for rosacea

Does argan oil help with rosacea? The short answer is yes, but it's not what you really think!

Most people are going to attribute amazing benefits and properties to argan oil, from getting rid of pimples and other skin issues to even reducing stretch marks, some are even going to tell you that argan oil is going to regrow lost hair, well, most of them are correct to some extent!

Argan oil is a fatty acid after all, and it's not that strong, yes, it can help in some situations, but when it comes to rosacea, unfortunately, argan oil is very weak!

The first thing you need to understand about rosacea is that it's a very complex disease, it's a skin problem that to this day most scientists don't know the answer to, in fact, research is still in progress to determine whether rosacea is from bacterial, viral, or fungal causes, in fact, there is a debate going on between dermatologists, some think that using antifungal drugs helps, while others swear by antibiotics!

A friend of mine had rosacea for more than a year, and the only thing that has helped her was antibiotics, especially doxycycline and tetracycline, however, she also was applying argan oil to her face and skin on a daily basis, and it helped her a lot.

So, does argan oil help with rosacea? Probably yes, but it will never get rid of it!

You have to understand that rosacea is a chronic disease, it's a chronic skin problem, it won't disappear, you can only manage its symptoms and reduce inflammations, and the best thing you can do is to check with your dermatologist, he is definitely the one who can give you the exact prescription drugs to use in order to lower your rosacea symptoms, and most importantly, he is the only one to give you a prescription for doxycycline and tetracycline which are very powerful for lowering rosacea symptoms.

You can also start using argan oil daily on your affected area, just apply some few drops onto your fingers and start massaging very gently, after all, argan oil is very nutritious for your skin and will definitely help with lowering the symptoms and increasing the moisturization of your skin which is very important for reducing the symptoms quickly.

  1. I’ve heard that Argan oil ‘causes’ Rosacea and therefore should not be used on the face. Is this true, and how can that be if Rosacea is caused by bacteria, etc?
