Does sweat clog pores?

Does sweat clog pores? Well, the straight answer is no, sweat is not a comodogenic substance, in other words, it's not going to clog and create an obstruction in your pores, however, what you should understand is that usually, when people think about clogged pores, they understand things the wrong way!

In other words, they are going to confuse sebum with sweat!

For example, many people who suffer from acne will think that sweat is clogging their pores and causing their pimples!

When in fact, they are wrong!

Sebum, the greasy and fatty substance produced by your skin, is the substance that will clog your pores, and in this case, yes, it's going to cause acne and other pimples, but sweat is absolutely very natural and will never harm your skin, in fact, it was designed by our creator to help lower temperature and to also increase skin protection.

However, in some very rare cases, especially when you are all the time dehydrated, and your sweat is very acidic, then, it can clog pores, but I think this is extremely rare and usually, by drinking 2 to 3 liters a day of water, you are helping your skin rehydrate itself and your sweat will not be extremely acidic and dangerous for your pores.
