Can you eat multani mitti?

Eating multani mitti? Fuller's earth? Is it healthy? Should you do it?

Well, the answer is no, you should avoid it as much as possible, and although it is practiced in some ancient cultures, you should really avoid this, after all, you are not a two years old, you don't eat dirt!

I know that this is going to go against many beliefs some people have that multani mitti is very healthy for their stomachs and when you start eating it, it's going to help your skin and your hair as well, but this is absolute rubbish in my opinion!

First of all, you don't have the necessary equipment, meaning your stomach and intestines to absorb nutrients found in multani mitti.

The second thing is that multani mitti is "dirt", in other words, it's a rock, it can contain lots of minerals and lots of elements that can be very dangerous for your intestines and stomach as well, and even though you may argue that you are going to only eat a few grams a day, you should completely avoid it because it will serve you nothing and your body is not going to get any nutrients out of dirt, in fact, if you are thinking that multani mitti is loaded with minerals and other nutrients for your health, then, you are wrong because our body does not absorb nutrients from rocks, it only absorbs nutrients from food, things it is designed to digest, not rocks!

Now, how about adding multani mitti, just some few pinches to your foods and drinks?

I see no benefits in doing this, in fact, the only thing you should do with multani mitti is to apply it onto your face and skin, add to it some rose water and some essential oils and you will get a fantastic mask for your skin that's going to absorb excess sebum and also make your skin look healthy and strong as well, however, eating multani mitti is simply a waste of time and it's not going to help you a lot, in fact, it can cause you some liver or kidney problems in the future if you do it excessively.

I know that I'm going to upset many people by writing this: "don't eat multani mitti", but it's the truth, I don't want to lie to you and I don't want to cause you troubles or intestinal and digestive problems, just avoid it, multani mitti should only be used for your skin and hair.
