Rosehip or argan oil for your skin?

Today, I would like to talk about a very important subject: which oil to use, rosehip or argan oil for your skin?

And to tell you the truth, each of these fatty acids plays a very important role, a very specific one indeed, for your skin, and choosing only one is very difficult, especially when you are having specific troubles, for example, you are suffering from acne or you just want to improve your skin condition, or even, you just want to care for your skin and nourish it etc.

I know that I'm a little confusing, but please, let me explain myself:

What I am trying to tell you here is that each oil is going to achieve a specific purpose, when it comes to rosehip oil, it's very powerful against the following conditions:

  1. Acne

  2. Pimples

  3. Rash

  4. Eczema

  5. Psoriasis

  6. Itchiness

  7. Rosacea

  8. Inflammations

  9. Fungal problems

However, when it comes to skin care and beauty, rosehip oil is also very powerful and will make your skin complexion clear and very soft as well, however, it's not that great when compared to argan oil!

In the case of argan oil, it's amazingly good for the following conditions:

  1. Making your skin soft

  2. Regenerate and your skin

  3. Stretch marks

  4. Moisturizing

  5. Dandruff

You see now that both oils have specific roles to play in your skin care routine; however, what you must understand is that if you have only one to choose, then be it rosehip oil!

This goes against my heart because I love argan oil, in fact, even when I have acne or other skin inflammations, I would just add one drop of tea tree oil to one teaspoon of argan oil and make it extremely powerful and strong for whatever condition or inflammation I am suffering from.

I use it even with my children, however, because most people don't want to be mixing oils and playing the chemists, I really think that you should only stick to rosehip oil, it's also very beneficial for beauty purposes.

However, the one and only thing I would like to warn you about when it comes to rosehip oil is the following:

If you apply too much, you will regret it!

I say this because I had so many terrible experiences with rosehip oil!

For example, I once applied one teaspoon to my arms, only to find that next morning they were inflamed, itchy, and very irritated!

So, whenever you would like to apply rosehip oil on your skin, use no more than 3 to 4 drops, it's the maximum in my opinion.

In conclusion, if you have the means and the time, you should probably use argan oil because it's very safe for your skin and will not cause problems and inflammations, however, if you don't want the hassle of mixing essential oils and using different containers, then, stick with rosehip oil, but only use four drops, it's more than enough.
