In this post, you are going to discover the most essential oils to use if you have acne prone skin, in other words, by using these fatty acids, you are going to limit acne dramatically while also helping your skin stay hydrated and moisturized throughout the day.

Indeed, I highly recommend that you use these essential oils, usually, with a recipe I'm going to share with you later on, in order to help your skin stay protected all day long and to also avoid getting dry and weak skin which is more susceptible to developing acne pimples and other skin issues!

So, what are the best essential oils for acne prone skin?

  • The first one is tea tree oil.

Tea tree oil is by far one of the healthiest and most beneficial essential oils you can use if you have acne prone skin, it will not only get rid of bacteria responsible for developing acne, but it will also lower inflammations dramatically, however, there is a problem with tea tree oil!

It’s the fact that it's very powerful, in other words, it can cause inflammations and even burn your skin a little!

This is the reason why I highly recommend that you use the recipe you are going to find at the end of this post, it's the most suitable way to use essential oils for an acne prone skin, this way, you are not going to get inflammations nor acne, while you are going to keep your skin well hydrated and moisturized throughout the day.

  • The second one is rosehip oil.

Rosehip oil is definitely my second favorite essential oil, and if you have an acne prone skin, then, apply some few drops on a daily basis and massaging your face and acne prone area is definitely going to not only prevent the appearance of acne pimples, but it will definitely lower your skin’s inflammations and even reduce acne scars dramatically.

The reason why I know about rosehip oil is because I have used it myself to lower my acne scars, and it has works amazingly well for me, and this is what I want for you as well, I'm sure that you suffer from some acne scars, so, apply some few drops on a daily basis, just three or five to the palm of your hands and massage your face and acne prone areas, this is definitely one of the best ways to reduce acne and to also reduce their scars and make them invisible.

  • The third one is argan oil.

Argan oil is definitely my favorite fatty acid to use and recommend, especially if you suffer from acne and you have a terribly acne prone skin.

If you develop acne very easily, then, you need to start using argan oil on a daily basis.

With rosehip oil, it's amazing and it's going to keep your skin moisturized and also extremely hydrated, which is very important to increase its elasticity and reduce its fatty sensation a lot.

Indeed, when your skin is moisturized the right way, it's not going to become very fatty because your skin is only going to start producing sebum when it's under stress and attack, and when it is well moisturized and hydrated, it's rarely going to suffer from stress.

Again, use some few drops of argan oil onto your face and other acne prone skin daily, this will keep your skin well hydrated and moisturized throughout the day.

  • And now, let me show you the best recipe to use if you have an acne prone skin:

Let me show you how to use these essential oils for your acne prone skin:

Start first by using a dark glass container, which is very important whenever you are dealing with essential oils.

To which you are going to add one teaspoon of tea tree oil and five teaspoons of argan oil, mix everything very well, don't worry about rosehip oil, you should be using it on a daily basis, so, don't add it to this recipe.

Now, every day, twice, apply this oil to your acne prone skin, and whether you have acne pimples or not, this will get rid of them and even prevent their appearance.
