Does jojoba oil clog pores?

Does jojoba oil clog pores? The answer is no, but in some very rare cases, it will!

And here, I'm talking about weak and fragile skin types, the ones that are susceptible to black or whiteheads, and those that are also suffering from acne and other skin troubles.

As mentioned in many of my previous posts, many oils and beauty products are going to clog your pores to some degree, stop thinking in terms of this, and instead, start thinking in terms of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory compounds, and healing properties of different oils and substances you will use on your skin.

It's because most products known to man, if applied onto your face and skin, are going to clog your pores, no matter what you are going to believe and no matter what you are going to be told!

Pores’ clogging is completely natural and your body knows how to deal with it, in fact, when you sweat, some pores are going to get clogged while others are going to get unclogged!

The same thing happen when you breathe as well, in fact, it's completely normal and it doesn't mean that your body is deficient in some nutrients or sick, it simply means that your body is doing its work and that's it!

So, does jojoba oil clog your pores?

Yes, it will close some pores, but most of them are going to stay intact because jojoba oil is very nutritious and also very healthy and helpful for your skin.

However, if you are suffering from clogged pores, due to jojoba oil for example, then, you can simply use this recipe, it will help you tremendously:

Mix one tablespoon of honey with two tablespoons of lemon juice, freshly squeezed one.

Lemon juice is fantastic and due to its acidic nature, it will unclog your pores very rapidly, especially if used with a sugary substance such as honey for example.

Use this on a weekly basis, it will not only nourish your skin, but it will also unclog most of your clogged pores.

Please, if you have a question about using jojoba oil for your skin, don't hesitate to post it in the section below:
